Foundation
Grants
The Tiffin Charitable Foundation,
because it is a community foundation, may not make
grants to individuals.
Only qualified, nonprofit
organizations recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt, public
charitable organizations may receive grants.
Scholarships are paid to the
college or university for the benefit of the student.
Most of the Foundation's
component funds have designated where their charitable
grants shall be made.
The White Family
Charitable Fund is an unrestricted fund.
Grant requests may be made for
general, capital or specific project support. Grants will
be awarded only to qualified, nonprofit, charitable organizations that support the community of
Tiffin and Seneca County, Ohio and enhance the lives of its
citizens. The Foundation will also consider making
challenge grants for worthwhile projects in order to
encourage matching gifts or additional funding from other
donors. Applicants located outside Seneca County, Ohio,
must provide information on how Tiffin and Seneca County
residents will be served. Applications are reviewed
quarterly.
The White Family
Charitable Fund grant guidelines and grant application form
are accessible from the home page of this website by
clicking on the MORE button of "Grant
Guidelines".
If you would like an
electronic copy of the guidelines (a Microsoft Word
document) or application form (a Microsoft Excel document)
email-attached to you, please email
adm@tiffinfoundation.org to make your request.
