Funds of The Tiffin Charitable Foundation, Inc.

Funds and purposes

  1. The 194 Riverside Drive Fund:  (2002) This is the address of the residential property Mary Frances Kuebler devised to The Tiffin-Seneca Library Foundation.  The purpose of this fund is to annually distribute ninety percent of the fund value to support The Tiffin-Seneca Library Foundation and ten percent to support St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, Ohio.
  2. The Barbara N. Somers Scholarship Fund:  (2006)  This is a memorial fund established in honor of Barbara N. Somers.  Annual high school scholarship grants are made to students attending Calvert High School in Tiffin, Ohio.
  3. The Carmie Fund:  (1989) This is a memorial fund established in honor of Carmella Fabrizio.  Annual scholarship grants are made to graduating students of Tiffin’s St. Joseph and/or St. Mary’s grade schools who will be attending Tiffin Calvert High School.
  4. The George E. Cranch Memorial Fund\Boy Scouts:  (1987)  Annual grants are awarded to organizations that best exemplify the ideals of service and or craftsmanship held by George E. Cranch.  In 2005 a grant was awarded to the Black Swamp Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
  5. The George E. Cranch Memorial Fund\Heidelberg College:  (1987)  Annual grants are awarded to organizations that best exemplify the ideals of service and or craftsmanship held by George E. Cranch.  Each year a grant is awarded to Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio, for its annual Science Day awards.
  6. The George W. Deinzer Endowment Fund:  (1993)  Grants are made annually to support the performing arts in Tiffin and Seneca County. 
  7. Robert and Angelyn Dornauer Family Fund:  (2005)  Grants will be made to support the dental, cancer patient support, education, arts, music and recreation needs of Seneca County, Ohio.
  8. Tiffin Elks Charitable Fund: (2003)  (In compliance with Ohio’s Charitable Giving Act of 2003)   Grants are made to designated charitable organizations and activities in Tiffin, Ohio, or the nearby area.
  9. The Paul R. Glick Memorial Fund: (1993)  Grants are made annually to support Meadowbrook Park, Bascom, Ohio.
  10. The Junior Achievement of Northwestern Ohio General Fund: (2005)   Grants will be made to support Junior Achievement activities in Seneca County, Ohio.
  11. The Junior Achievement of Northwestern Ohio Scholarship Fund:  (2005)   Annual college scholarships are awarded to graduates of Seneca County schools.
  12. The Teresa Kessler Memorial Scholarship Fund:  (1997)  An annual scholarship is awarded to a New Riegel High School senior who is pursuing a post secondary degree in a two or four year program at the college or university.
  13. The Daniel G. Klepper Memorial Scholarship Fund: (1970)  Annual college scholarships are awarded to graduates of Tiffin Calvert High School.  Tuition assistance scholarships are also awarded annually to Tiffin St. Mary’s and St. Joseph grade schools, Calvert High School, and St. Joseph School in Decatur, Indiana.
  14. The Lautermilch Fund:  (1992)  The net income is distributed quarterly to St. Mary’s Catholic Church to be used exclusively for the general physical maintenance of the church.
  15. The Clive E. Lupton Fund:  (2006)  Grants will be made to support capital improvements at Hedges-Boyer Park, Tiffin, Ohio.
  16. Helena Baer Machamer Fund: (1999)  Monthly grants are made to Trinity United Church of Christ of Tiffin, Ohio, for its Christian Education program.
  17. The Father Edmund F. Morman Memorial Scholarship Fund:  (1987)  An annual scholarship is awarded to a New Riegel High School senior who is pursuing a post secondary degree in a two or four year program at the college or university.
  18. The John E. Pollock Fund:  (1995)  Annual grants are awarded to qualified organizations providing training for handling boats under manual or sail power; public safety education as it affects boating; and natural and applied science education.  The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and Camp Fire USA Buckeye Council received 2005 grants totaling $1,982.03.
  19. The Robert “Bo” Reid Athletic Memorial Fund:  (2004)  Annual grants are awarded to designated charitable organizations and activities in Tiffin, Ohio or the nearby area with an emphasis on athletics and recreation.  In 2005 a grant for $4,500.00 was awarded to the H Club of Heidelberg College.
  20. The Foundation of Tiffin Rotary Club General Fund:  (2005)  Will provide funds to The Foundation of Tiffin Rotary Club for its activities.
  21. The Foundation of Tiffin Rotary Club Fort Ball Rotary Park and Gazebo Fund:  (2005)  Will provide funds for maintenance, repair and improvement of the Fort Ball Rotary Park and the Gazebo located at that Park.
  22. The Philip A. & Jo Ann H. Stevens Family Fund:  (2006)  Grants made annually to support the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library.
  23. Tiffin Charitable Foundation Unrestricted Fund:  (2003)  Will award grants to qualified organizations for the emerging needs of the Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio community.
  24. The Tiffin Columbian Alumni Association Academic Enrichment Fund:  (2005)  Will award grants to financially assist the academic programs of Tiffin City Schools.
  25. The Tiffin Columbian Alumni Association Scholarship Fund:  (2005)  Annually awards a college scholarship to a graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.
  26. The Tiffin Metal Products Co. Student Assistance Fund:  (1997)  Annually awards grants to benefit students attending institutions of higher learning.  In 2005 grants totaling $12,803.00 were awarded to Heidelberg College, Tiffin, Ohio.
  27. Trinity Funds:  For the benefit of Trinity United Church of Christ, Tiffin.
  28. Tiffin-Seneca Library Foundation Endowment Fund:  (2006)  Will provide funds for the support of the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library.
  29. The Tiffin Stadium Fund:  (1998)  Will provide financial assistance for the repair, maintenance, renovation and expansion of The Frost-Kalnow Stadium, National Machinery Field, and Dick Edmond Memorial Press Box located at Tiffin Columbian High School, Tiffin, Ohio.
  30. The White Fund:  (2005)  Will award grants to nonprofit IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt organizations in Tiffin and Seneca County, Ohio.
  31. The Leanne O. Wolff Fund:  (2005)  Will annually distribute five percent of the fund value to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Tiffin.
  32. Linda K. Wurm Memorial Trust:  (1996)  Annually awards a college scholarship to a graduating senior of Calvert High School who intends to pursue studies in the medical or health related field.  Scholarships may also be awarded to graduates of Tiffin St. Joseph’s and Tiffin St. Mary’s grade schools who will be attending Tiffin Calvert High School.
  33. The Zimmerman Alzheimer’s Activity Fund:  (1996)  Annual grants are awarded to Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin, Ohio, to be used for activities, outings and entertainment for its resident Alzheimer patients.
